ABOUT AMANDAAmanda represented Australia in swimming at just 15 years of age at the 2012 Summer Paralympic Games, before taking up cycling shortly after.
Amanda won her first cycling national crown in 2015, and has claimed five national titles through to 2018. At the 2016 Summer Paralympics, Amanda won a silver medal in the Women's 500 m Time Trial C1–3. In 2017, Amanda claimed dual world crowns on the track in the time trial and individual pursuit. Amanda was also named the NAIDOC Sportsperson of the Year for 2017. At the 2019 World Championships Amanda set a world record in the time trial which she broke at the 2020 Championships! |
